Life as a Flash - A Series from the Past

This is an old but fun series of fifteen paintings sold in its entirety. It gave Hebe the opportunity to experiment with different forms of artistic techniques and led her into her current preferences. This series also gave her the opportunity to visually manifest all the cultural and educational influences as well as activities from her life. The"Life as a Flash" Series authenticated the experimentation of earlier years as an artist with a juxtaposition of realistic and abstract images combined into one surface. Each painting mimics the way a human brain sees the world in a continuous explosion of colors, ideas, and shapes. "Nothing is constant. The metamorphosis of thoughts and ideas is so rapid that one can be transported in time and in space at the split of a second. Life is lived as a flash."
